Webinar Recap: Marketing Automation, It’s Not About You!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Vivian Swertinski, Senior Digital Marketing Strategist at Informz, one of ACGI’s resource partners, for joining us in presenting the webinar, “Increase Engagement and Drive Revenue with Marketing Automation” on August 25th, which was part of our ongoing Extending the Value webinar series.

In case you missed it, we recorded the webinar which can be accessed here at your convenience.

During this 60-minute session, Vivian shared valuable case studies highlighting how marketing automation can help associations that are experiencing a decline in member rates, or maybe struggling with member engagement itself.

Vivian shared her critical four-step plan to a successful win-back campaign, which includes these four steps: Analyze, Target, Plan, and Execute. Being able to answer, “Why do people join?” and, “What do people gain?” is a major element to analyzing your organization in order to create a win-back campaign that will bolster member retention and engagement rates. Properly identifying the target of the campaign will also aid in its overall effectiveness. Ask yourself: “How long have they been a member?” or “Have we surveyed our members?”

Vivian stressed that while planning the campaign, you and your organization should focus on audience needs, not your own. Test your campaign with a small sample size, leverage all data assets, and have purposeful follow-through when executing your win-back campaign. Always follow up, remind and nurture your members when the opportunity presents itself.

To learn about our platform, which helps you manage membership, events, publications, online engagement, and more, all in one place, register now for one of our upcoming webinars and help your organization achieve more.
