What Information Is Collected?
We collect personally identifiable information about you if you choose to register or apply online for one of our events, promotions, jobs or other online activities. These may include Web seminars (webinars), support responses, user surveys, product demonstrations, registration for our partner program and access to downloadable content. When you register or apply for one of our online activities, you complete a form that may require you to provide personally identifiable information, including your name, email address and telephone number. If you are an ACGI client, you may also provide your credit card information and mailing address when registering for training, a user conference or other fee-for-service activity.
How Does ACGI Use My Information?
We use your personally identifiable information to deliver the services you have requested, to evaluate your registration or application for our products and services, to process your request for information and to contact you if we need more information. We may use personally identifiable information to contact a user in connection with the user’s inappropriate use of the Site. We may also use your email address, telephone number or mailing address for one or more of the following purposes:
• Obtain feedback on our products, the Site or on other aspects of our business.
• Notify you of new products or services that we think may be of interest to you.
• Send you promotional materials.
• Provide you with a newsletter.
We use anonymous information, such as aggregate data about visitors to the Site, to determine how to improve the Site, marketing and services, how visitors find out about the Site and which of our online services most interest visitors to the Site. We also may share anonymous information with third parties. This anonymous information cannot be used to identify you personally.
What Type of Safeguards Does ACGI Use?
The security and confidentiality of your information is extremely important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and improper use. From time to time, we review our security procedures in order to consider appropriate new technology and methods. Please be aware though that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
Your California Privacy Rights
A California resident who has provided us with personal information (a “California Customer”) is entitled to request information about whether we have disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. If so, upon receipt of a request by a California Customer, we will provide a list of all third parties to whom personal information was disclosed in the preceding calendar year, as well as a list of the categories of personal information that were disclosed.
California Customers may request further information about our compliance with this law by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year, and we are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through this e-mail address.
