American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Achieves Membership Milestone with Association Anywhere®

Association Management Software from ACGI Simplifies Member Management for ADEA – Organization Enrolls 10,000 New Members in Four Weeks

COLUMBIA, Md., November 6, 2006 – ACGI Software, the trusted leader in Web-based association management software (AMS) and best-practice services today announced the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) has licensed and successfully deployed Association Anywhere®, the company’s flagship application. Within four weeks of completing the initial implementation Association Anywhere has streamlined member management at ADEA, automating the enrollment of over 10,000 new members.

ADEA members include U.S. and Canadian dental schools and advanced dental programs, as well as dental students, faculty and staff. In mid 2005, the organization decided to dramatically expand its membership by eliminating the annual dues payment charged to individual members. To handle the potential onslaught of new members, ADEA needed a more efficient mechanism for enrolling and managing members, and supporting the needs of a much larger organization – albeit one that could not rely on dues revenues to fund operations.

With a target kickoff date of January 2, 2006 for its new open membership campaign known as “Open…Wider,” ADEA evaluated a number of AMS solutions. They selected Association Anywhere based on the software’s proven member-management capabilities, as well as ACGI’s solid reputation and commitment to meet ADEA’s deadline.
